Our crazy family embarked on a 3 day 17 and ½ hour round trip car ride from Orange County, CA to Williams AZ to experience “The Polar Express”. Any normal person would go to their local park and ride their local Santa Train, not me, with me your getting a full experience. See I don't sell the steak, I sell the steak and the sizzle. After researching the different options, we landed on the Grand Canyon Railway Polar Express Santa Train. We found a good package that included a buffet (judgement free zone) and lodging. We knew this would be a long journey with the kiddos so we took extra precaution; updated Christmas playlist, leapster, sketch pad, and timed stops along the way. We were so smart we decided to stay overnight in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is such a safe, family filled town. We tried our best to keep it as clean and PG as we could, however we decided to head to the hotel when our 5 year old asked if we could wait in line to get a photo with the girls wearing Raiders swim suits. Direct Quote..."why are we leaving? Dad loves the Raiders".
Enjoy!
Next stop "Bearizona"...the name says it all.
Hoover Dam time and lunch at Guy Fieri's.
Someone is deathly afraid of heights and lasted 28 seconds on this bridge...
Final meal at Buddy's (Cake Boss)
In closing...our hotel did have a bowling alley...one day I'll be a Creeper
Vaya Con Dios!
